Role and Responsibilities

A Q. A. Engineer is involved in the testing of software and is generally a member of the software quality assurance team. Engineers may test software, but are not always expert Test Engineers. The Engineer is responsible for test planning and execution activities as needed including: Integration Testing, Functional Testing, Component Testing, Regression Testing, System Testing, Performance Testing etc. Experience with methods and tools for analyzing the development and Technical Characteristics of Testing/Verification Systems. Should have strong communication, coordination, organization and reporting skills.

Maintain a thorough understanding of products and associated features via knowledge of underlying technologies and frequent hands-on interaction.
Identify areas of highest impact to end user experience, including upcoming feature implementation and changes to product functionality.
Write efficient test cases that exercise all logic paths;
Responsible for developing and executing functional test plans and functional test cases based upon use case documentation;
Documenting and reproducing defects found during testing.
Creates and review software test plans and validation procedures.
Analyzes system errors and suggest corrective measures.
Identify risks and issues proactively and drives solutions.
Set up test environment needed to execute test cases and prepare test result;
Qualifications and Education Requirements

MCA\M.Sc\B.E.\B.Tech - IT, Computers, or EC - passout - 2014 to 2016 with 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience from the time the degree is received.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Experience in testing mobile applications and embedded firmware applications;
International Institute Software Testing (IIST)/Certified Software Testing Professional (CSTP).
