Government of India, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Staff Selection Commission Southern Region (SSC SR), Chennai has given an employment notification for the recruitment of Senior Research Assistant, Senior Technical Assistant, Assistant Epigraphist (Dravidian Inscriptions), Textile Designer, Court Master, Tubewell Operator, Farm Assistant & Junior Chemist vacancies 8 Departments of Central Government.

SSC Southern Region Vacancy Details:

Name of the Posts:

1. Senior Research Assistant: 09 Posts
2. Senior Technical Assistant: 03 Posts
3. Assistant Epigraphist (Dravidian Inscriptions): 01 Post
4. Textile Designer: 02 Posts
5. Court Master: 02 Posts
6. Tubewell Operator: 01 Post
7. Farm Assistant: 01 post
8. Junior Chemist: 01 post

Age Limit:

• Candidates age should not be exceeding 30 years for Post 1 to 5, 8, 25 years for Post 6 & between 18-27 years for Post 7 as on 03-10-2016. Age relaxation of 03 years for OBC & 05 years for ST candidates & others is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: -

1. Candidates should possess Master Degree in Chemistry. 
2. Degree in Agriculture followed by Post Graduation in Agronomy/ Plant Breeding/ Genetics.
3. Master Degree in Tamil/ Malayalam/ Telugu/ Kannada with Ancient Indian History as a subject at Bachelor Degree level.
4. Bachelor Degree in Textile Design/ Fine Arts with Textile Designs as a subject.
5. Degree in any subject.
6. I.T.I Certificate in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering.
7. Pass in 12th Class or equivalent qualification.
8. Master Degree in Chemistry/ Dairy Chemistry/ Oil Technology/ Food Technology. 

With relevant experience.

Selection Process:

• Candidates will be selected based on OMR/ Computer Based Examination & Skill Tests like Typing/ Data Entry/ Computer Proficiency Test etc & interview for Junior Level Posts.

• Candidates have to pay Rs.100/- by SBI Net Banking/ Credit Cards/ Debit Cards/ through SBI Challan. No fee for women candidates & candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped & Ex-Servicemen.
